If you’ve followed me for any period of time, you know I’m dedicated to helping others make more out of their life, and that has typically applied specifically to helping you learn how to build your home-based business online, keeping up with new technology and tools, and everything else that can help you make more money, creating time and financial freedom in your life.
Another area of our lives that is heavily intertwined with our success is our health. And it’s the most overlooked area, usually put on the back burner or swept under the rug. Several years back, I woke up to how unhealthy my life was, I began eating better, working out and running a lot! In one month, I dropped from 245 to 215. And within the next year I eventually was able to get down to just over 200 pounds. That was from a combination of eating better/less and being more active.
No matter how you slice it, there’s really no better way to lose weight (and keep it off!) than eating less and working out more. Many fad diets and weight loss programs are either just trying to appeal to peoples’ lazy side, or they work short-term but make you gain it back, plus some, long-term. Here’s a funny clip from MAD TV that is just for kicks, but has an underlying truth…It’s called Eat Less, Move More, take a look:
A successful life, including becoming financially free and/or wealthy, is dependent upon having a BALANCED LIFE. In other words, I really don’t think you can have one without the other…if you’re not healthy it’s going to hold you back from achieving more financially and business related. And if you do find success without being healthy physically or spiritually, it will be short-lived and crumble in the end as you continue to live without balance.
Now, I don’t want you to think I’m getting onto too much of a tangent, this site has enough to cover in internet marketing and network marketing, let alone to venture into health and wellness. But I did want to share with you today about some fascinating information I’ve come across lately regarding physical health and personal nutrition.
I don’t have cable or satellite, and personally don’t recommend it…there’s just no personal value in getting sucked into what the networks try to pour into your brains. However, I do have NetFlix because I can watch incredible documentaries and informative shows on it whenever I want to sit back and take a break from working on my business.
I wanted to share with you some truly EYE-OPENING presentations you absolutely need to see. I think it’s just heart-breaking and tragic to see the foods we eat as average Americans. Most people, go to the store, and buy whatever they put on the shelves, believing blindly that it’s got to be good for us. That couldn’t be farther from the truth!
Following are the TOP 3 Videos you must see right away to help get you started on the right path to living a long and healthy life. It really is simple, there’s nothing complicated about how our diets should be, and these 3 films all concur with each other:
- Don’t eat processed foods
- Eat as many fresh fruits and vegetables as possible
- Cut back on meats…you don’t have to go straight to being a vegetarian, just limit meat consumption
- Buy local, and buy organic
Fat, Sick, And Nearly Dead
Watch these 2 men, 1 Australian, and 1 morbidly obese Iowan, drop an incredible amount of weight and become healthy just by changing their diet to fruits and vegetables. It’s truly amazing.
Food, Inc.
This documentary leads you behind the curtains of industrialized agriculture, opening your eyes to just how bad many supermarket products are for you (anything including corn, and most meats), and how badly animals are treated.
Food Matters
This documentary exposes you to the alarming connection between “Big Pharma” (pharmaceutical industry) and the Medical field. It discusses how most of our diseases and ailments stem from poor nutrition, and instead of many doctors going after the root causes of our problems, they just prescribe drugs. It’s not in Big Pharma’s best interests (in other words, there is no profit) for us to be healthy!
After you get those movies to watch with your family, get to work on getting healthy!
…so I can help you get to work on getting Wealthy!
