My mother and I were brainstorming last night. Yes, my mother has been
able to enjoy her own business along with me as we’ve bounced ideas off
each other and built our business alongside each other.
The reason why is the 2 of us were brainstorming on our ‘Branding’ strategy
for the future of our business.
My mother just so happens to know a lot about that because she worked in the
corporate world for many years in marketing.
Which leads us into the area of business that I consider to be one of THE most
important you could be spending any of your time on.
And that is… ‘Branding’.
Specifically, creating a solid BRAND Recognition around YOUR NAME.
You want to do that so that YOUR NAME becomes a trusted name amongst
your prospects, and ultimately in the entire home business industry.
Here’s how the process works…
You start out simply doing the marketing tactics I go through in my
online home-business success boot camp (top right of this page).
1. Driving traffic to a HIGHLY effective lead capture page.
2. Building a list of prospects you can market to for the rest of time.
3. Following up with those prospects on the back end, etc.
Now, when you get to this point it is incredibly crucial you START the branding process.
The first step to creating your “industry” brand is to create it with a small group of people first.
This small group of people is your LIST.
The prospects who have opted into your list, and are requesting
more information from your marketing.
Creating a positive brand image in the minds of these prospects is a pretty easy
thing to do. All we have to do is IMPROVE their lives in some way.
By giving them valuable content, content that is enlightening, inspiring, educational,
motivational… as long as it hits along these four lines YOU WILL be improving their lives.
And slowly… they will begin to form a very high respect of you.
At this point… you’ve begun to establish your brand.
This is the starting point to hitting 5 or 6 figures a month in this industry.
Because once you establish a brand with a core group of prospects, a core database,
you will be able to mine the gold from that database.
Before the trust is established, that list will be HALF as responsive.
After the trust is established… that responsiveness can increase 10 fold.
Now, even though I’m talking in marketing terms and this all sounds quite
mechanical, I DO NOT want you to get lost thinking that way.
When I say something like, “You have to establish trust in order to
mine gold from a database…”
That doesn’t mean you establish trust ONLY to mine gold. In fact, to really be
successful in this industry you have to think the exact OPPOSITE way.
Rather than this being about YOU… this is about your PROSPECTS.
This is about your CUSTOMERS. This is about the people you’re going to help.
Because in the world of marketing and entrepreneurship…
the phonies get spotted very quickly.
It’s very easy to see who’s a phony and who isn’t. And if you’re a phony…
it will be figured out by your prospects quite easily.
But if your focus, intention, and ACTIONS are truly ALL focused on providing the
most amount of value you possibly can to people’s lives… then you CAN’T go wrong.
You just make sure you’re always aligned with those principles, and your prospects
will ALWAYS know you care about them, and wouldn’t do anything that ISN’T supporting
them in their life paths.
THAT, my friends… is how business is supposed to run. With the highest integrity possible.
And when you do that… the brand you will have with your prospects is incredible.
Now… in order to bring your brand to an ‘Industry’ level it takes
a whole other set of strategies to really go HUGE.
Don’t get me wrong… not everyone wants to make $100,000+ per month…
but when you have an ‘Industry Brand’ you totally can with ease.
When you have a ‘Personal Brand’ with your own database you can do great.
You can easily be a 5 figure or even multiple 5 figure a month earner.
